Nursery 
The Nursery room has our oversize wooden cot (6ft 3”) to keep baby safe and cosy while having a sleep. The cot can also be fitted with reins, ankle and wrist restraints for those mischievous little ones. For the persistently naughty little one we have hand mitts which are lockable to keep even the naughtiest little one in check.

When it is time for sleep the nightglow nursery is the place to be, with its comforting lights and glowing furry friends. Snuggled down in your sleep suit and listening to a story written by nanny herself, you can drift off in to a cosy sleep. With lots of toys for company and a magic rainbow across the ceiling it is a magical place for baby to have the sweetest of dreams.

The nursery can cater for AB couples with a king size giant cot.

Dayroom

 In the dayroom we have the very generous play pen (5ft x 6ft) to keep baby safe while nanny is busy making baby’s dinner. There is also the giant high chair which has been purpose built to make even the cuddliest baby’s feel small and secure while being fed by Nanny.

Naughty Step

Now I do hope that you never get to sit on the naughty step, but experience has taught me that there is a good chance you will!.  Nanny will have no hesitation on putting you on the naughty step if she has to. The naughty step sits on its own in the long corridor, with only Pooh bear and his friends to keep you company while you think about what a naughty baby you have been and how you can make it up to nanny.

 Bath time

Baby’s under the sea bathroom is decorated to make bath time just fabulous fun. Lots of bubbles and bath toys, light up little ducky’s and a tug boats, Nanny will bathe baby with Johnsons & Johnsons and lots special baby soaps and shampoo to make baby smell just delicious.

There is also a range of PVC ware that can be worn in the bath

Din dins in the high chair

Sitting in the high chair baby will be fed by nanny for din dins

This high chair is probably the biggest high chair baby will ever sit in. (it is also fitted with wrist, ankle and chest restraints for that fidgety naughty baby).

 Nanny has a variety of delicious “Cow and Gate” baby food that even the fussiest of babies will find delicious and tempting. Nanny also cooks lovely homemade meals very good babies may be allowed to help nanny with home cooking in the kitchen.

Nanny can cater for babies who need special diets, ie gluten free, low sugar ect. If you have any dietary needs please do let nanny know in advance.

Nanny knows that baby can be a messy eater so the nursery has some lovely big bibs for baby to wear to keep baby’s clothes nice and clean.

There are a range of snacks and drinks throughout the day to make sure growing little ones never go hungry or thirsty.

 Clothes and Nappies

The nursery has a full range of clothes for baby girls and boys, but nanny would love to see any baby clothes that you have so do feel free to bring them along to show me.

Nanny’s wardrobe is just full of the most wonderful things for baby to wear. Little ones may choose their own outfit but for the indecisive baby nanny will chose for them.

The nursery has a generous supply of nappies including terry towelling, shaped terry nappies, disposables and pull-ups. Nanny also has plastic, rubber, locking and lovely pretty frilly pants. Nanny has a special pair of very very very noisy pants that baby will never win a game of hide and seek in. (do check back to the site as nanny will be putting a video clip of the noisy pants online soon).

Nanny will happily change wet nappies but does not cater for messy nappies.

Nanny Johnston can do the biggest ever nappies and we have some extra large pants and onesies to fit over them.

Play time and Activities 

 There are lots of fun things for baby to do at the nursery both inside and out (We have a secluded and private outdoor area and in dry weather baby can go outside to play). For and extra messy time Hand and foot painting is popular. Baby can take the painting home or Nanny loves to hang a baby’s special paintings on the nursery wall.

Babies can always busy in the kitchen as nanny always welcomes little helping hands when baking cakes and making cookies.

A good baby will be rewarded and be nannies little helper in the kitchen

For baby’s playtime fun Nanny also has a Rocking horse, big bight cars, and lots of teddies, lego, colouring books, crayons and paints, bubble tea set, crafts sets. For the musical little one there is also a fun box of colourful instruments which nanny can help learn to play.

Baby will be spoilt for choice as there are dvd’s and videos galore, and are sure to find a childhood favourite. Whether its “watch with mother “muffin the mule” or a favourite Disney film.

Both nursery and dayroom have a television.

Outings 

A popular activity is nanny taking baby out on a morning or afternoon trip. Nanny can take baby out to the shops, visits to the sea side, Zoo and many other exciting places to visit in the area.
Nanny’s favourite is a nice picnic in one of the large national parks nearby - Of course you will be wearing your nappy.
